Picking the incorrect strainer for your system can also damage the pump. These Pre Pump Strainers are designed to increase the filtered surface area at your pond pump’s inlet, the Pre Pump Strainers act as a more secure barrier to your pump and therfore filtration system, protecting both your main pump and filter from becoming clogged with leaves etc, and keeping your koi and wildlife in your pond from being sucked into the system.
Designed for primary use with submersible pumps, each Pre Pump Strainers can be adapted to be used with different sized inlet to your pump, from 1.5 inch up to 4 inch.
The Pre-filter is fitted with a flexible stop end cap to one end and then a choice of rubber boot to the other.
The Pre Pump Strainers grid itself has 10 mm slots around the Dia. The mesh grill can also be easily removed to clean etc. Cleaning the Pre Pump Strainers couldn’t be easier, simply unscrew the rubber boot and clean.
The Pre Pump Strainers come in 2 different sizes, suiting different requirements a 110 mm Dia x 250 mm and a 110 mm Dia x 500 mm
These Pre Pump Strainers work with submersible pumps, the strainers are supplied with a number of different rubber boots allowing the user to mount their strainer with lots of different submersible pump inlets.

Damages
Although we check that items we send are in good condition before despatched and are packed well to prevent damage, it is sometimes inevitable that the occasional item will get broken in transit.
Should this happen, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. We will ask you to email us providing some images of the damage so we can address this with the courier.
We will arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you as quickly as possible, free of charge.
