"Stimune" helps the fish’s natural immune system to fight infection. The immune system’s first line of defence against invading micro-organisms are white blood cells known as macrophages. Macrophages recognise foreign bodies including bacteria and parasites and engulf them before they can multiply and cause disease. "Stimune" is a beta-glucan which helps maintain large numbers of macrophages in the circulatory system.
NT Labs Medikoi Health Koi Food also contains a unique natural herbal formula developed in our laboratories which helps to maintain resistance to disease . Lemon skin, olive leaf and Artemesia all help maintain resistance to a wide variety of infections. Valerian root has been known for a long time to be an excellent sedative so helps to reduce stress. Other herbs in the formula also aid digestion.
Propolis is also included in NT Labs Medikoi Health Koi Food. Propolis is produced by honey bees to keep the hive free from infection. Propolis is, therefore, good for speeding recovery after infection.
NT Labs Medikoi Health Koi Food is available in 3mm Junior and 6mm floating pellet.

Damages
Although we check that items we send are in good condition before despatched and are packed well to prevent damage, it is sometimes inevitable that the occasional item will get broken in transit.
Should this happen, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. We will ask you to email us providing some images of the damage so we can address this with the courier.
We will arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you as quickly as possible, free of charge.
