The EZ Storm Bottom Drain has quickly become known worldwide for its quality and design. This unit completely replaces the Standard Bottom Drain.
The most noticeable feature of the EZ Storm Bottom Drain is that its made from GRP fibreglass construction which means it can intergrate seamlessly in to fibreglass GRP designed ponds. It also has the extra 1 inch connection in to the sump of the drain. This allows the air supply to enter the sump independent of the water outlet pipe, eliminating the possibility of restriction to the water flow and somewhere else for blanket weed to attach.
The membrane and backing plate on the EZ Storm Bottom Drain fit on to the stem of the diffuser.
The diffuser is secured to the bottom drain by means of a stem, which also provides the direct air feed. The main drain is 4 inch pressure pipe and the air feed is 1 inch pressure pipe. The air is provided with 1 inch pressure pipe direct from the air pump at no point requires you to use flexible air line to connect air inside the drain creating back pressure and potential air kinking issues.
The 1 inch pressure pipe in to the side of the drain runs parallel to the main 4 inch drain pipe.
