Aqua Pro 345 Purifiers contains:

System consists of three jumbo housings, the first clear and the second and third blue, this housing takes the 10 Inch x 4.5 Inch diameter filters with pressure relief and comes complete with:

1 x 10 inch x 4.5 inch Dia 5 micron high capacity polypropylene sediment filter for the removal of sediments, dirt, sand and rust. This is normally used in the first stage of a multi stage water filter system.

2 x 10 inch x 4.5 inch Dia carbon block filter, this Filter is Effective in Removing Chlorine, Pesticides, Volatile Organic Chemicals and 99.95% of Giardia and Cryptosporidium Cysts

Also supplied with mounting brackets, pressure gauge, housing wrench, available with industry standard 3/4 Inch or 1 Inch inlet and outlet connections, please specify which you require at the time of ordering.

The very water we drink, is not fit for Koi by any means.

Mains water contains Chlorine and many hard metals, that just simply are not healthy, or productive for a healthy and balanced nitrogen cycle. The water purifiers we offer are suited to the task of protecting our Koi from the harmful elements within our public water systems. They are, naturally, not intended for use as drinking water purifiers for human consumption.


To have effective water purification it is best to allow for very slow flow rates. The longer the water takes to pass through the purifier, the greater the benefits of the purification system. A flow rate of one to two gallons per minute should adequately remove any nasty impurities, and the water can safely be added directly into your filtration system or the pond.

Koi-keepers need to take great care to ensure that none of this compound reaches the pond as it can destroy the filter balance and seriously damage fish health.

Various media have been promoted to deal with Chloramine but all have suffered from limited effectiveness over any length of “life”.

The Cartridges can also be used to upgrade all other makes using the standard 4.5 inch Dia x 10” housings to an effective performance.

Damages
Although we check that items we send are in good condition before despatched and are packed well to prevent damage, it is sometimes inevitable that the occasional item will get broken in transit. 

Should this happen, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your parcel.  We will ask you to email us providing some images of the damage so we can address this with the courier.

We will  arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you as quickly as possible, free of charge.
