The Oase Level Control Auto Top Up System automatically maintains a stable water level in ponds, koi ponds and water features using a conductive sensor and 12 volt solenoid valve. Designed for both gravity fed and pump fed systems, it compensates for evaporation, splash out and drum filter cleaning cycles. With low 3 watt power consumption and 10 mm switching accuracy, it provides reliable long term level control.

Automatic Water Level Management for Ponds and Water Features

Maintaining a stable water level is essential for both visual appearance and filtration performance. The Oase LevelControl Auto Top Up System provides a fully automatic and reliable solution for keeping ponds, koi ponds, fountains and reservoirs at a consistent depth.

Manufactured by Oase, this electronically controlled system continuously monitors water levels and adds fresh mains water when required. A partially submerged conductive sensor detects changes in water depth and communicates directly with the control unit. If the level drops by approximately 10 mm due to evaporation, splash out or routine filter cleaning, the controller opens the supplied 12 volt solenoid valve and allows water to enter the system.

Once the correct level is restored, the unit immediately closes the valve. As a result, it prevents overfilling while reducing unnecessary water usage. This automated process removes the need for manual top ups and ensures consistent operating conditions throughout the year.

Suitable for Gravity Fed and Pump Fed Systems

The Oase LevelControl is particularly well suited to gravity fed pond systems. In these installations, even small fluctuations in water level can affect skimmer performance, bottom drain efficiency and filter stability. Therefore, maintaining a constant water height helps protect pumps and supports balanced circulation.

However, it is equally valuable on pump fed ponds, especially those running drum filters. During each automatic cleaning cycle, drum filters discharge waste water to drain. Over time, this regular flushing can gradually lower pond volume. By installing an automatic top up system, water lost during rinse cycles is replaced automatically, ensuring stable water levels without constant supervision.

Koi ponds benefit significantly from this consistency. In warm weather, evaporation can reduce levels quickly. In addition, backwashing and drum cleaning remove water daily. The LevelControl compensates for these changes immediately.

Decorative fountains and commercial water displays also rely on stable water levels. Many fountain nozzles require precise depth to maintain the correct spray pattern. Consequently, consistent topping up ensures visual performance remains unchanged.

The weatherproof control unit allows safe outdoor installation. However, the solenoid valve must be fitted in a splash protected location to ensure long term reliability.

With very low power consumption of approximately 3 watts, the system operates efficiently and economically.
