Tenka Chaya Japanese Lantern Light diffuser.

This style of diffuser is specifically designed to fit a Tenka Chaya lantern.
In Japan, you would only expect to see lanterns with diffusers, if they are fitted with an electric light. They are usually seen without!

These attractive, durable diffusers are made by us from translucent acrylic with a stained timber edge, and finished with a decorative detail across the window. The lantern can only be fitted with  1 diffuser. It is an extra feature and can be purchased for £35.

If you already have a lantern and would like some diffusers, please send us accurate dimensions of the light box appertures so that we can make them to fit. All the lanterns are hand carved and so will have slight dimensional variations.  Please note that the diffusers are handmade therefore slightly longer delivery timeframe.

Larger items:

Palletised items - Some large oversize products, typically items weighing more than 30kg, may require delivery via pallet. Standard Pallet charge is approx. £50.00. To ensure there are no delays with delivery, please include a contact number when placing the order.

Overseas – DHL and UPS, cost based on weight / volume at checkout.

Damages
Although we check that items we send are in good condition before despatched and are packed well to prevent damage, it is sometimes inevitable that the occasional item will get broken in transit. 

Should this happen, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your parcel.  We will ask you to email us providing some images of the damage so we can address this with the courier.

We will  arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you as quickly as possible, free of charge.
