800 GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane TFC 3113 - 800GPD. It is an Ultra Low Pressure Domestic Reverse Osmosis Membrane that can be used in most types of RO filters.
The membrane has a 80Psi operating pressure, which is the same pressure as most homes. This means you can expect to achieve a much higher RO water output than most other membranes that need a pressure of 60-70Psi, making them less suitable to the average home.
Other Reverse Osmosis membranes are difficult to remove from their housing, with pliers or grips need to be struggled with to break the seal. The Frotec membrane has a hexagonal thread on the end, so you simply insert an Allen key, turn, and remove the membrane. On top of this, the American Membrane technology means a 20% increased water output at lower water pressures.
Operating conditions:
- Elements contain preservative solution, therefore the permeate from the first hour of operation should be discarded, to flush the protective solution in the elements.
- Keep elements moist at all times after initial wetting
Elements should be immersed in a protective solution during storage, shipping or system shutdowns to prevent biological growth and frost damage.
If the operating conditions are not followed appropriately , we can not honor the warranty of the element as you will be unnecessarily reducing the life of the filter.
800 GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane to fit 3113 membrane housing
Ideal for brackish water, if you live by the coast or have high salt content in your water. These R.O. TFC (thin film composite) membranes are available in flow rates up to 800 Gallons per day
for the reduction of Arsenic ("V" pentavalent), Barium, Cadmium, Chromium (Hexavalent), Chromium (Trivalent), Copper, Cysts, Turbidity, Fluoride, Lead, Radium 226/228, Selenium and TDS.
The membrane removes up to 96-98% of total dissolved solids (TDS), delivering healthier and safer drinking water. Features:
* High Rejection & Flow Rate
* Standard dimensions: can be fitted in any 3113 RO housing
* Max. Free Chlorine: 0.1 ppm
*Max Iron and Manganese 0.1ppm
Type of membrane: Spiral wound
Technical Information

- Maximum Operating Pressure: 300psi (21bar)
- Maximum Feed Rate: 2.0gpm (7.6 lpm)
- Minimum Concentrate Flow Rate: 4 × permeate flow
- pH Range - Continuous Operation: 2-11pH Range,
- Short-Term 1Cleaning(30min)b: 1-12
- Maximum Operating Temperature: 113F (45)
- Maximum Feed water Turbidity: 1 NTU
- Maximum Feed Silt Density Index.: 5
- Free Chlorine Tolerance: <0.1ppm
- Maximum temperature for continuous operation above pH 10 is 95 (35).
- b Refer to Cleaning Guidelines of ANDE-AMF.
- c Under certain conditions, the presence of free chlorine and other oxidizing agents will cause premature membrane failure. Since oxidation damage is not covered under warranty, we recommend removing residual free chlorine by pretreatment prior to membrane exposure.
- Permeate flow and salt rejection based on the following test conditions:
- 250ppm softened tap water, 77 F(25 C),
- PH=8, and 15% recovery and the specified pressure at 50psi.
- Permeate flow rates for individual elements many vary +/-20%.
The rejection rate percentage can vary on the basis of water pressure, PH, temperature and general water quality of the feed water. Suggest replacement of membrane elements: when flow comes too slow or at least 24-36 Months.
WARNING The reverse osmosis is not a device that makes polluted water drinkable (non-drinkable water into drinkable water). Do not use the system where the water is microbiologically dangerous or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before and after the system. All systems must be used in accordance with the manufacture's instructions.
